Entergy New Orleans seeks a motivated student to operate and maintain systems at a Combined Cycle Gas Turbine facility and a Simple Cycle facility. You will follow procedures to improve performance under supervision, prioritizing safety and regulatory compliance.

You will participate in hands-on maintenance, monitoring, data acquisition, and control systems, gaining experience through a multi-skill progression plan and safety meetings.

Qualifikationen

• Actively enrolled in a technical degree program focusing on instrumentation, electrical or process technology.
• Currently pursuing a degree (full-time or part-time) in the relevant field.
• Minimum GPA of 2.8, verified by official transcript.

Aufgaben

• Operate and maintain plant systems at a CCGT and Simple Cycle facility.
• Assist in day-to-day activities to maintain regulatory compliance and avoid reportable violations.
• Participate in the multi-year production technician progression plan to develop key skills.
• Attend and contribute to job briefings and safety meetings.
• Apply understanding of plant systems, turbine controls, data acquisition, and process controls.
• Perform operational rounds, PM/PDM activities, and basic maintenance tasks.
