Job summary

Entergy Lake Charles is seeking a Student Intern to operate and maintain systems at a Combined Cycle Gas Turbine facility, emphasizing safety and adherence to procedures to improve performance.

You will work in a team to support day-to-day activities, participate in safety meetings, and develop hands-on skills in maintenance and operations while pursuing a technical degree and meeting GPA requirements.

Qualifications

• Active enrollment in a technical degree program (associate, bachelor's, master's, or doctoral) in a relevant field.
• Pursuing a degree full-time or part-time with a minimum GPA of 2.8 (verified via transcript).
• Bachelor’s or higher not required for internship but must be currently enrolled in a technical program.

Responsibilities

• Assist in day-to-day operations and maintenance activities.
• Participate in safety meetings and job briefings.
• Apply knowledge of plant systems, controls, data acquisition, and process controls.
