Job summary

NRG invites you to join as a Daily and Outage Planner/Scheduler supporting plant maintenance and outages in Austin, TX. You will develop detailed maintenance plans, schedules and cost control measures while maintaining safety and environmental compliance.

In this role you will coordinate with Operations, Station Managers, and contractors, prepare bid specs, and drive outage readiness to maximize plant reliability and uptime.

Qualifications

• 3 years maintenance planning using SAP or other CMMS.
• Valid driver’s license is required.
• DOT PHMSA covered position requiring pre-employment DOT drug screen.

Responsibilities

• Plan and coordinate routine and outage maintenance with safety compliance.
• Develop outage and maintenance schedules with operations and station managers.
• Prepare cost estimates and manage work packages and backlogs.
• Coordinate between contractors, consultants, and material suppliers.
• Lead outage meetings and track progress of schedules.
