Job summary

NRG Energy is seeking a Scheduler / Planner (Outage) with extensive maintenance planning and scheduling experience for power plant operations. The role involves creating and managing maintenance plans, coordinating outages, and ensuring safety and compliance across plant activities.

Experience with Primavera P6, PasTA, MS Projects, SAP, and collaboration with Engineering and Operations is essential. A base salary range is provided with a strong total compensation package.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or GED required.
• 5 years’ experience in maintenance planning and scheduling.
• 3 years of experience with SAP or CMMS.

Responsibilities

• Promote safety and supervise equipment isolation and tagging procedures.
• Develop and draft maintenance plans (PMs) for the plant.
• Schedule outages and weekly maintenance; establish priorities with Plant Operations.
