Job summary

NAES is seeking an Operations & Training Supervisor for the Hubbard, TX project. You will oversee the site's training and qualification programs, onboard and develop operators, and support startup, shutdown, commissioning, and routine operations to ensure safe, reliable plant performance.

The role requires strong leadership, collaboration with EPCs, OEMs, and Maintenance, plus experience with control room operations and BESS.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required; associate degree preferred.
• Extensive power plant operations experience, including supervision and CRO experience.
• Experience developing and administering training programs for power plant personnel.
• Ability to develop procedures, startup/shutdown checklists, lesson plans, and simulator scenarios.

Responsibilities

• Develop operating procedures, startup/shutdown checklists, and training guidance for safe plant startup.
• Lead implementation of Operations Training and Qualification Program, including onboarding, qualification, and simulator training.
• Support commissioning activities through walkdowns, first-fire events, synchronization, and turnover inspections.
• Collaborate with EPCs, OEMs, Engineering, Maintenance, Safety, and Environmental to create training materials.
