Job summary

NAES Corporation is hiring an Operations & Training Supervisor for the APEX Power Co. Project in Hubbard, TX.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required; an associate degree in power plant technology, engineering, or a related technical field preferred.
• Extensive power plant operations experience including supervision and prior CRO experience.
• Experience with simple cycle, combined cycle, and RICE generation; BESS experience preferred.
• Must possess a valid, unrestricted U.S. driver’s license.

Responsibilities

• Develop and administer Operations Training and Qualification Program, onboarding, qualification, simulator training, and continuing education.
• Develop and maintain Training Manual, qualification records, lesson plans, examinations, and simulator scenarios.
• Collaborate with Operations, Maintenance, Engineering, Safety, Environmental teams and contractors on training materials and investigations.
• Evaluate training effectiveness and implement improvements to enhance operator performance and reliability.
• Support plant startup, shutdown, commissioning, testing, and routine operations, with shift-relief coverage as needed.
• Mentor Operations personnel to strengthen technical knowledge and leadership.
