Vulcan Infrastructure and Power seeks a seasoned Head of Power Plant Operations & Pipeline to lead day-to-day operations at Dresden, NY. You will own the operations floor, direct real-time plant activity, and oversee the natural gas supply pipeline to ensure safe, reliable power generation.

The role requires deep Rankine-cycle knowledge, proven leadership in union environments, and a strong focus on safety, efficiency, and regulatory compliance.

Qualifications

• Minimum 8+ years in power plant operations, Rankine-cycle experience preferred.
• Proven leadership of operations teams, including unionized staff.
• Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering or related field; equivalent hands-on experience considered.
• Strong communication and ability to coordinate across departments.

Responsabilités

• Lead the unionized O&M workforce and manage staffing, scheduling, and training.
• Direct real-time operation of the 106 MW natural gas-fired unit and related systems.
• Oversee natural gas pipeline operations, fuel delivery, and reliability.
• Uphold safety, compliance, and operating discipline across shifts.
