Job summary

RRC Solutions Group in Victorville, CA seeks a Plant Manager to lead all plant O&M activities, ensuring safe, compliant and efficient operation. You will coordinate manpower, tools and spare parts to meet safety and environmental requirements and client needs.

The role requires strong leadership, oversight of outages, training programs, policy reviews, and teamwork with a supervisory and administrative staff to deliver timely reports and budgets.

Qualifications

• Bachelor of Science in engineering or equivalent; substitutions allowed year-for-year.
• 10 years of power plant or similar experience.
• 3 years supervising technical, supervisory, and administrative personnel.
• Preferred gas turbine experience.

Responsibilities

• Direct plant operations and maintenance to meet client requirements and safety standards.
• Administer safety, operations, NERC compliance, maintenance, QA/QC and environmental programs.
• Oversee planned and unplanned outages and their performance.
• Implement training and qualification programs for plant personnel.
• Review policies to reflect current operating requirements.
• Direct sourcing, screening, and hiring of new personnel; maintain certification status.
• Ensure morale and motivation of plant personnel.
• Prepare client and utility reports, budgets, and environmental compliance reports.
