Job summary

EthosEnergy is seeking an Operations and Maintenance Technician (OMT) to support the Campbell Power Plant in Sacramento, California. This role advances through Campbell OMT qualification, then McClellan, with eventual LOMT lead responsibilities in the Campbell control room.

Planned on-site work includes field and control-room operations, preventive maintenance, plant chemistry, and environmental compliance, with 12-hour rotating shifts, overtime, and outage support as required.

Qualifications

• Must have at least 2+ years of power-generation, industrial operations/maintenance experience or equivalent.
• Willingness to complete formal qualification steps from OMT through McClellan and toward LOMT.
• Ability to learn complex power-plant systems and develop SME expertise.

Responsibilities

• Perform field rounds, inspections, and operator watch duties.
• Operate plant equipment from field and DCS per procedures and permits.
• Support startup/shutdown and outage activities across Campbell and McClellan plants.
• Maintain qualifications and participate in training and knowledge transfer.
• Assist with development and improvement of operating procedures and training materials.
• Provide coaching and mentoring as experience grows.
