Job summary

PROENERGY is seeking an Operations & Maintenance Technician for the PJM area. You will provide technical expertise on instruments, control systems, mechanical and electrical equipment across power generation facilities.

The role involves predictive, preventive, and corrective maintenance under supervision. Reports to Plant Superintendent and supports outage responses, equipment maintenance records, and safe operational practices at the site.

Qualifications

• Associate degree or equivalent in electronics/related field.
• Fluent in reading/writing English in a technical context.
• Experience with power-generation equipment preferred.

Responsibilities

• Perform preventive and corrective maintenance on instrumentation and control systems and electrical/mechanical equipment.
• Inspect, test, repair, install, and remove plant equipment.
• Operate and monitor turbines, generators, and related plant systems.

Education

Associate degree (A. A.) in electronics or equivalent
