Job summary

NAES Corporation in Bennett, Colorado, is hiring an Operations and Maintenance Technician to support safe, reliable, and efficient plant operations. You will perform startups, shutdowns, inspections, troubleshooting, and routine maintenance across mechanical, electrical, instrumentation, and control systems.

We value on-site collaboration with plant personnel and contractors, with a rotating 10-hour shift schedule to cover 24/7 operations and potential overtime during peak conditions.

Qualifications

• Associate degree in power plant technology, electrical/mechanical technology, instrumentation and controls, or related field preferred.
• Hands‑on experience in power plant operations and maintenance, startup/shutdown, inspections, troubleshooting, and turbine operation.

Responsibilities

• Start up, shut down, and operate six GE LM2500 turbines and associated systems.
• Complete operator qualification and develop knowledge of turbine and control systems.
• Conduct equipment rounds, inspections, tests, minor repairs, and maintenance while monitoring parameters.
