Job summary

EthosEnergy is seeking an experienced Operations & Maintenance Technician for Cherokee County Cogeneration in Gaffney, SC. You will work a 12‑hour rotating shift, operating and maintaining a GE-based combined cycle facility to support reliable power generation.

The role involves monitoring equipment, recording data, and performing water chemistry to meet process specifications. You will use Maximo, interpret drawings, and coordinate with the O&M Manager and LOMT to ensure safe, efficient

Qualifications

• High School diploma or equivalent required.
• Two to four years related experience and/or training preferred.

Responsibilities

• Operates and maintains plant equipment with minimal guidance.
• Records data from meters, gauges, and sensors to verify conditions.
• Uses Maximo CMMS to document issues, work orders and parts usage.
• Performs water chemistry analysis and maintains controls for HRSG and cooling systems.
• Reads drawings and PLCs, and supports troubleshooting of plant controls.
