Job summary

Arizona Public Service (APS) is seeking an Engineer I/II/III to provide engineering analysis, design, planning and technical support for company operations and projects. The role grows in responsibility from Engineer I to Engineer III, with increasing independence, complex assignments and mentorship opportunities.

Qualified candidates hold a four-year ABET-accredited engineering degree and, for higher levels, relevant years of experience.

Qualifications

• Four-year bachelor’s degree in engineering from ABET-accredited institution or equivalent.
• Engineer II requires two years of engineering-related experience.
• Engineer III requires five years of engineering-related experience.

Responsibilities

• Prepare engineering plans, designs, analyses, specs, cost estimates and studies.
• Interface with customers and other departments to ensure objectives and requirements are understood.
• Provide technical guidance and leadership to less experienced engineers.
