Job summary

WIN Waste Innovations is seeking a Maintenance Mechanic to install, troubleshoot, clean, inspect and maintain mechanical equipment across the facility in a safe, professional manner. The role requires documenting work orders, responding to emergencies, and operating mobile equipment as needed.

The position emphasizes preventative maintenance, safety compliance, and effective communication with the shift team. Welding, CMMS Tabware familiarity, and on-call availability are valued assets.

Qualifications

• High School diploma (GED) required.
• Proven mechanical abilities and hands-on experience preferred.
• Ability to read and record measurements with precision.
• Welding experience a plus.
• Experience with CMMS software (Tabware) preferred.

Responsibilities

• Initiates and completes work-orders and requisitions.
• Troubleshoot mechanical, hydraulic, and pneumatic equipment; diagnose and repair.
• Operate mobile equipment (forklifts, manlifts, skid steers).
• Perform preventive maintenance and routine repairs around the facility.
• Identify and repair potential safety hazards; follow PPE protocols.
• Coordinate with maintenance team and shift supervisors; communicate clearly.
