Job summary

Greenwood Fabricating & Plating, LLC is seeking a maintenance technician to support production machines and equipment across a busy plant. You will perform preventative maintenance, troubleshoot issues, and coordinate with service providers to minimize downtime.

The ideal candidate has 3–5 years of related experience, can work on-call 24/7, and is comfortable reading diagrams and schematics. Knowledge of CMMS and electrical systems is a plus; steel-toed boots required.

Qualifications

• Minimum age of 18
• 3–5 years of related maintenance experience
• Ability to work on-call duty (24/7) on a rolling weekly basis with additional pay incentives
• Capable of managing small and/or ongoing projects while handling routine and emergency maintenance duties
• Ability to work well independently or as part of a team
• Experience with 120/480V controls and motors
• Read and understand electrical manuals
• Strong analytical background
• Knowledge of or ability to learn a wide variety of tools and equipment
• Must maintain forklift operator certification
• CMMS experience or ability to learn company systems

Responsibilities

• Maintains and services mechanical equipment, control systems, power distribution, and HVAC systems
• Performs preventative maintenance and routine repairs
• Conducts safety and maintenance inspections to evaluate equipment for replacement
• Uses diagrams, blueprints, and schematics to install, troubleshoot, calibrate, and repair equipment
• Orders parts and coordinates with service providers for maintenance tasks
• Uses CMMS to track and document activities
• Installs and repairs electrical apparatus and components
• Maintains pipe systems and hydraulic/pneumatic equipment
• Repairs and maintains manufacturing facilities and grounds
• Follows safety procedures and reports unsafe conditions
• Performs additional duties as needed
