Job summary

Calpine, a leading power generation company, seeks a Senior Power Plant Maintenance Supervisor to oversee daily operations and maintenance at the Corpus Christi facility. You will plan and direct work of operations staff, issue instructions for economic dispatch, and ensure safety, environmental and regulatory compliance.

You will supervise mechanical, electrical, and I&C maintenance, coordinate outages, manage budgets, and oversee contractor work.

Qualifications

• Minimum of 5+ years of power generation experience in gas turbine power plant maintenance.
• 3+ years of supervisory experience.
• Valid state driver's license.
• Intimate knowledge of repair and maintenance of heavy frame combustion turbine.

Responsibilities

• Accomplishes work through others; manages overall equipment maintenance at the power plant.
• Oversees safety of workers, contractors and the public in maintenance activities.
• Coordinates mechanical, electrical and I&C maintenance repairs and preventative maintenance.
• Develops and maintains computerized maintenance management program.
• Schedules outages and coordination with local hosts and utilities; manages budgets and contractors.
