Job summary

Tucson Electric Power in Tucson, AZ, is seeking a Maintenance Planner to analyze, plan, and coordinate work across mechanical, electrical/instrumentation, and control systems to maintain optimum plant availability.

You will develop detailed scopes, manage materials, administration of CMMS, and support budgeting. The role requires hands-on planning experience, on-call availability, and strong communication.

Qualifications

• 4-5 years journeyman level experience in mechanical, instrumentation and controls and/or electrician OR 5 years in maintenance planning or project planning.
• Ability to be on call on weekends and evenings.
• Strong verbal and written communication skills using Microsoft Outlook, Word, Excel.

Responsibilities

• Receives corrective work requests; develops detailed scopes of work including job plans and job steps, estimates of materials and labor; submits parts requests to Material Operations.
• Administers preventive and predictive work order database for the area.
• Develops detailed Requests for Pricing and Purchase Requisitions.
• Manages CMMS activities and information for the area.
• Develops outage flow charts and cost estimates for planned outages.
