Job summary

NRG Energy is seeking a Maintenance Manager to lead daily supervision, planning, and coordination of outage and maintenance work across the plant. You will drive safety programs, ensure compliance with standards, and manage contractor performance while aligning with corporate objectives.

The role requires extensive experience in power plant operations or maintenance, demonstrated leadership, and strong project management capabilities to optimize outages and maintenance cycles.

Qualifications

• 8+ years of power plant operations or maintenance experience or a Baccalaureate degree in Engineering or related field with 6+ years of equivalent experience
• Experience leading/supervising employees in a related field

Responsibilities

• Provide leadership and safety emphasis across the plant's outage and maintenance activities
• Coordinate development of work scope packages and work order plans for outages
• Oversee resource planning, scheduling, budgeting, and performance for all outage work
• Manage contractor/vendor coordination and ensure compliance with company policies
• Develop outage procedures and continuous improvement initiatives
