Job summary

Accede Solutions Inc is seeking a Project Manager to oversee construction, maintenance, and outages at a power generation facility. The role includes supervising supervisors and contractors, managing multiple contracts, and ensuring safety, quality, cost, and schedule adherence.

The candidate should have extensive experience in power plant operations or maintenance and strong leadership and communication skills to coordinate with project controls, vendors, and plant personnel.

Qualifications

• High school diploma required; bachelor’s degree preferred.
• 15 years of related experience or 12 years in power plant operations or maintenance.
• Minimum 5 years of supervisory experience.
• Experience in power plant operations or maintenance and heavy industrial construction preferred.
• Strong leadership, communication, project management, and safety skills.

Responsibilities

• Manage and coordinate construction projects, maintenance, and outages at a power generation facility.
• Supervise construction supervisors and contractors, ensuring safety, quality, cost, and schedule compliance.
• Manage multiple construction contracts, manpower, and field resources.
• Provide constructability input during the design phase.
• Review contract changes and coordinate with Project Controls.
• Maintain relationships with contractors, vendors, plant personnel, and union representatives.
• Coordinate storm preparedness and restoration activities.
