Job summary

Accede Solutions Inc. is seeking an experienced Generation Supervisor to oversee and coordinate construction activities, plant projects, maintenance, and outages at a power generation facility in Florida.

The role requires extensive experience in power plant operations, heavy industrial construction, and strong leadership abilities. The incumbent will manage multiple contracts, provide constructability input during design, allocate field resources, supervise supervisors and contractor personnel,

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Extensive experience in power plant operations, maintenance, or construction.
• Minimum 5 years of supervisory experience.
• Strong knowledge of construction codes, standards, safety programs, and project management practices.
• Proven leadership, communication, team-building, and personnel management skills.
• Experience managing multiple projects, schedules, resources, and priorities.
• Ability to travel between power generation facilities as required and obtain a passport.

Responsibilities

• Lead and supervise construction activities across multiple craft disciplines, ensuring contractor safety, quality, productivity, cost control, and schedule compliance.
• Manage multiple construction contracts and determine appropriate contracting strategies.
• Provide constructability input during the design phase.
• Evaluate contractor manpower requirements and ensure efficient allocation of field resources.
• Supervise construction supervisors and contractor personnel, providing leadership and guidance.
• Coordinate with project and construction management on contract changes, extra work, and project controls.
• Build strong working relationships with plant personnel, contractors, vendors, engineers, and union representatives.
• Coordinate storm preparedness and project restoration activities.
• Support multiple projects and priorities while maintaining high safety and performance standards.
