Job summary

IntelliPro is seeking an experienced Construction Manager with a strong background in power generation, controls, instrumentation & I&C, IT, and network infrastructure. You will oversee multidisciplinary field teams on power plant projects, ensuring safety, schedule, scope, and budget adherence.

Ideal candidates have prior experience in power plant environments and familiarity with NERC CIP. The role covers FAT/SAT, commissioning, turnover, and close-out across multiple project phases.

Qualifications

• 7+ years of experience in construction, engineering, project management, or related field.
• Minimum 3 years of demonstrated construction management experience.
• Previous power plant or power-generation environment experience is required.
• Experience managing multidisciplinary teams and contractors.
• Strong understanding of construction and field operations.
• Ability to read and interpret technical drawings, manuals, specifications, and instructions.

Responsibilities

• Lead and manage assigned construction projects in the field.
• Coordinate construction activities with contractors, engineers, vendors, commissioning teams, and other project stakeholders.
• Ensure project scope, objectives, schedule, budget, and quality requirements are met.
• Maintain effective communication and collaboration with internal and external stakeholders.
• Monitor construction activities and resolve scheduling, coordination, and field issues.
• Maintain a strong onsite presence throughout project execution.
• Perform construction oversight and inspections to monitor the quality of work and materials.
• Ensure work is performed according to project specifications, drawings, contracts, codes, and applicable standards.
• Review contractor and supplier performance and identify deviations from project requirements.
• Provide regular project status updates, inspection reports, risk assessments, and recommendations to project leadership.
• Identify and communicate potential project risks, issues, and schedule impacts.
• Work closely with contractors, engineering teams, safety personnel, commissioning teams, and site management.
• Support project commissioning, turnover, documentation, and close-out activities.
• Identify opportunities to improve construction processes, project execution, safety, quality, and efficiency.
• Ensure compliance with applicable safety, environmental, and regulatory requirements.
