Job summary

Siemens Energy Staffing seeks a Plant Engineer for a US-based site to support electrical, instrumentation, and control systems. You will analyze equipment performance, identify reliability improvements, and ensure regulatory compliance while coordinating with Operations, Maintenance, and Compliance teams.

The role emphasizes data-driven optimization, risk assessment, and the development of procedures, training, and technical documentation for plant reliability.

Qualifications

• BS in engineering; 7–10 years in power plant ops/maintenance.
• Experience with gas/steam turbines, generators, protection and control.

Responsibilities

• Provide technical support and evaluate operating issues to improve plant performance and reliability.
• Review changes to generators, protective relays, AVR/excitation systems, governors, and DCS/PLC logic for compliance and adequacy.
• Coordinate compliance with NERC Reliability Standards and related programs.
