Job summary

ENGIE North America seeks an Electrician to support steam, chilled water, and electrical generation operations for MATEP, LLC and related facilities. You will install, inspect, maintain, troubleshoot, overhaul, calibrate, and test electrical equipment that keeps plant operations reliable.

You will work with the Electrical Supervisor to identify parts and documentation, participate in safety programs, and ensure compliance with LOTO, ARC FLASH, and NFPA 70E.

Qualifications

• Massachusetts Journeyman Electrician license required.
• Minimum 5 years as Journeyman or Master Electrician in a power plant.
• On-site daily, Monday–Friday 6 AM to 2:30 PM EST.
• Valid U.S. driver’s license required.
• Experience reading technical drawings and documenting maintenance.
• Knowledge of 480V–13,800V three-phase systems.
• Proficiency with LOTO, ARC FLASH and NFPA 70E; MAXIMO CMMS.
• Strong communication and ability to manage multiple tasks.

Responsibilities

• Maintain and troubleshoot major plant electrical equipment including motors and transformers.
• Perform maintenance and modifications to plant lighting and HVAC electrical equipment.
• Participate in Plant Emergency Response program and maintain safe work areas.
