Job summary

ENGIE North America, in Boston, seeks an Electrician to support steam, electrical generation operations at MATEP LLC satellite facilities. You will install, inspect, maintain, troubleshoot, overhaul, calibrate, and test electrical equipment critical to plant operations and site reliability.

Requirements include Massachusetts Journeyman Electrician License and at least five years as Journeyman or Master Electrician in power generation.

Qualifications

• This role requires a High School Diploma or equivalent.
• Massachusetts Journeyman's Electrician License is required.
• Minimum 5 years of experience as a Journeyman or Master Electrician in a power plant or similar facility.

Responsibilities

• Maintain and troubleshoot major plant electrical equipment including motors, generators, transformers, automatic transfer switches, voltage regulators, variable frequency drives, UPS and battery systems, electronic revenue metering, fire alarm and communication systems, protective relays, programmable protective relays, and PLCs.
• Perform maintenance and modifications to plant lighting and electrical equipment related to HVAC systems, using technical drawings, manuals, procedures, and related documentation.
• Participate in the Plant Emergency Response program, mandatory training, and other programs while maintaining work areas and shop facilities in a clean, orderly, and safe condition.
