Job summary

ENGIE North America in Golden, Colorado is seeking an Operations & Maintenance Technician II to safely operate, start up, monitor, and maintain boilers, gas turbines, engines, and generators at our local energy infrastructure site.

You will perform inspections, plan outages, document procedures, train others, and join ENGIE's safety culture while supporting continuous reliability across the plant.

Qualifications

• A minimum high School Diploma or equivalent.
• Minimum two (2) years of relevant experience and/or training in a skilled trade.
• Valid U.S. driver's license and ability to drive company vehicle.
• Willing to work outdoors 10% of time.

Responsibilities

• Inspect the plant and equipment, including carrying out scheduled plant checks, and prepare necessary reports and log entries.
• Assist in planning, organizing, and executing unit outages for inspections, overhauls, repairs, and cleaning.
• Assist with preparation and administration of operations, maintenance, and Health Safety & Environmental procedures and reports.
• Maintain accurate records while monitoring and maintaining plant equipment and systems.
• Participate in ongoing training to maintain and enhance skills required to perform duties and assist in the training of others.
• Train and qualify as an Operator Technician at the ENGIE facilities in the Denver/Golden Colorado area.
• Complete other duties related to safe plant operations, maintenance, and reliability.
