Job summary

CAMS is seeking an experienced Plant Manager to lead the safe, reliable, compliant, and cost‑effective operation of the St. Charles Energy Center, a 745‑MW combined‑cycle natural gas facility in Waldorf, Maryland.

Reporting to the Vice President of Operations, the Plant Manager provides leadership for operations, maintenance, engineering, environmental compliance, workforce development, budgeting, and outage execution.

Qualifications

• Senior leadership experience in power generation operations/maintenance.
• Bachelor's degree in Engineering or Business or related field.
• Knowledge of combined-cycle plant operations and major equipment.
• Experience with outages, budgets, capital projects, and regulatory requirements.

Responsibilities

• Lead plant operations and maintenance for safe, reliable, compliant performance.
• Develop and execute operating plans, O&M budgets, and capital plans.
• Manage outages, contractor relationships, and asset lifecycle planning.
• Foster safety culture and coach a high-performing workforce.
