Job summary

EthosEnergy Power Solutions, LLC seeks an experienced Power Plant Manager to lead operations at Potomac Energy Center, a 2x1 CCNG plant near Leesburg, VA. You will provide leadership, ensure safe, reliable, and economical operations under the owner’s guidelines and contracts.

Responsibilities include budgeting, regulatory reporting, staff development, and owner communications. The role requires expertise with Siemens SGT6-5000F and a four-year degree; MBA is a plus.

Qualifications

• Substantial leadership experience in combined cycle plant operations.
• Thorough understanding of O&M functions for Siemens SGT6-5000F.
• Four-year degree or commensurate experience; MBA a plus.
• Experience in Operations and Maintenance of a Combined Cycle Power Station.
• Knowledge of ISO markets; PJM experience is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Ensure safe plant operations and minimize accidents.
• Oversee environmental reporting and permit compliance.
• Oversee all NERC and regulatory reporting requirements.
• Maintain policy, procedures, and commercial commitments.
• Foster a productive, motivated work environment.
• Optimize plant performance with efficient resources.
• Lead and develop facility staff, including training.
• Prepare annual budget and operating plan.
• Manage purchasing, inventory and cost control.
• Report monthly plant activity and variances.
• Communicate with staff, owners, vendors, and agencies.
• Provide weekly owner updates on key issues.
• Build owner relationships and meet expectations.
• Ensure O&M agreement compliance and timely reporting.
• Recommend plant upgrades with cost-benefit analysis.
• Oversee maintenance and outages and report outcomes.
