Job summary

CAMS is seeking a Maintenance Manager for the Three Rivers Energy Center near Morris, IL. The incumbent will have 5 direct reports and oversee all aspects of plant maintenance, safety, and outages.

Under the Plant Manager, you will develop procedures, manage maintenance budgets, coordinate with vendors, and supervise work in a 1250 MW combined cycle facility with GE gas turbines. The role requires leadership, CMMS experience, and a commitment to safe, reliable operations with some travel.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in engineering or equivalent training/experience.
• 8-10 years’ experience in power plant operations and maintenance, preferably combined cycle.
• Proven managerial/supervisory experience.
• Demonstrated communication, analytic ability, detail orientation, and deadline-driven.
• Knowledge of and experience with Computerized Maintenance Management Systems (CMMS).
• Extensive knowledge of gas and steam technologies preferred.
• Experience with gas turbine, steam turbine, generators, HRSG, controls and monitoring.
• Proficiency with MS Office including Excel, Word, PowerPoint and Project.

• Oversee day-to-day maintenance to support company goals.
• Manage maintenance planning for outages and week-to-week planning.
• Maintain safe work environment and enforce safe procedures.
• Develop and manage maintenance budgets and write material requisitions.
• Develop and execute projects assigned by Plant Manager.
• Ensure compliance with environmental, health & safety and NERC programs.
