Job summary

IntelliPro seeks an experienced Project Manager to lead a high-visibility power generation project in Chester, VA. The role requires coordinating contractors, budgets, and schedules to ensure safe, compliant, on-time delivery from development through commissioning.

The ideal candidate has 7+ years in construction/engineering or project management with power generation experience and strong knowledge of turbines, pumps, and controls. W2 hourly pay applies for a 4-month engagement.

Qualifications

• 7+ years of industry experience in construction, engineering, or project management.
• Minimum 3 years of demonstrated project management experience.
• Strong power generation experience required.
• Experience with turbines, generators, pumps, motors, controls, electrical/instrumentation systems, and balance-of-plant equipment.
• Experience managing contractors and multiple project priorities.
• Strong understanding of project budgets, schedules, and cost forecasting.
• Knowledge of construction and operational field practices.
• Experience with safety practices, including OSHA requirements.
• Ability to read and interpret technical drawings, manuals, and specifications.

Responsibilities

• Lead execution of capital projects from development through commissioning.
• Manage project scope, schedule, budget, and financial forecasts.
• Coordinate multiple contractors, vendors, and project stakeholders.
• Support engineering, procurement, construction, and startup activities.
• Manage contracts, commercial activities, and project documentation.
• Ensure safety and environmental compliance throughout project execution.
• Utilize project management processes to track milestones and deliverables.
• Resolve technical issues and implement project improvements.
