Job summary

Quanta Power Solutions is seeking a Construction Coordinator/Field Engineer to support planning, execution, and field coordination of power generation projects. This role connects engineering, construction, subcontractors, and project management to ensure safe, efficient, and quality-driven field work.

The ideal candidate possesses strong field construction knowledge and excellent communication, with the ability to coordinate across civil, structural, mechanical, electrical, and I&C disciplines.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent; power plant construction experience may be considered in lieu of degree.
• 3+ years of construction, field engineering, project coordination, or construction management experience.
• Experience supporting large industrial, energy, EPC, or heavy construction projects.
• Willingness to travel and work at project sites nationwide.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate daily construction activities between field teams, subcontractors, engineering, and project management.
• Assist in planning and sequencing work to support schedule milestones and project objectives.
• Monitor field progress and impacts to schedule, productivity, quality, and safety.
• Facilitate communication between engineering and construction teams to resolve field issues.
• Track and coordinate RFIs, submittals, and field change documentation.
• Review construction drawings, specifications, and engineering documents for constructability and field execution.
