Energy Aspects Ltd. in New York seeks a Power Markets Analyst to join our North American research team.

You will analyse US power markets, develop written research, and present insights to clients, supported by data analysis and model outputs. You will combine Excel and Python to run and enhance our in-house power market models, deliver forward-looking views, and communicate complex ideas clearly to clients at all levels.

Formación

• Experience analysing and communicating views on US power markets.
• Strong data analysis skills with Excel and Python.
• Ability to present work clearly to clients at all levels.
• Experience with forecasting methods, timeseries, statistics and energy economics is desirable.

Responsabilidades

• Write analytical pieces on wholesale power prices, demand, and capacity buildout under changing regulations.
• Develop visuals, analyse data and enhance models using Excel, Python, and AI tools.
• Present forward-looking views on power markets to clients and prospects.
• Improve data quality and processes within the power team.
