Job summary

JE Dunn Construction is seeking a Project Director for the Power Market to lead major natural gas and thermal power generation projects. You will provide strategic oversight, drive risk management, and ensure safety, budget, schedule, and quality objectives while maintaining strong client relationships.

The role requires significant travel; ideal locations include Atlanta, GA or Kansas City, MO, with flexibility based on experience.

Qualifications

Bachelor’s degree in construction management, engineering or related field.
Equivalent relevant experience will be considered.

Responsibilities

Provides direction and leadership for the assigned project across all phases of the project lifecycle.
Leads safety culture and investigates incidents with corrective action.
Supports strategy development and company-wide initiatives.
Provides strategic direction to team members in light of program plans.
Manages client relationships and develops new business opportunities.
Conducts project risk assessments and escalates risks.
Builds relationships with subcontractors and engineers for long-term partnerships.
Leads preconstruction discussions and develops contractual obligations.
Oversees project and schedule review to meet obligations.
Manages staffing and resource allocation.
Engages with community and industry to represent the organization.
