Job summary

JE Dunn Construction is seeking a Project Director - Power Market to lead delivery of natural gas and thermal power projects, ensuring safety, schedule, budget, and quality goals while maintaining client relationships.

The role requires extensive travel with a preference for being located in Atlanta, GA or Kansas City, MO, and may offer flexibility based on experience and travel willingness.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in construction management, engineering, or related field.
• 15+ years construction management experience.
• 5+ years people management experience.
• Proven track record managing major power generation projects.
• Experience with EPC delivery model and risk management.

Responsibilities

• Provide direction and leadership across all phases of the project lifecycle.
• Lead safety culture and incident investigations.
• Develop and execute strategic planning for the work program.
• Manage client relationships and pursue new business opportunities.
• Oversee risk assessment, issue resolution, and change control.
• Develop subcontractor strategy and partner relationships.
