Techline is hiring a Groundman in Austin, TX to work full-time on overhead power line projects. You will assist with ground tasks, support crew with line work, and help maintain a safe, organized job site in varying weather conditions.

The role requires a CDL Class A within 3 months, DOT physical and drug testing, and compliance with safety policies. Eligible candidates must be legally authorized to work in the United States.

Qualifications

• Must have a valid Class A CDL within three months of employment.
• Must pass a DOT physical and drug test.
• Adhere to company safety and health policies – on-the-job safety training provided.
• Legally authorized to work in the United States.

Responsabilités

• Assemble tools and materials on the ground.
• Maintain Power Distribution Systems including running, stringing, and hanging lines overhead or underground.
• Assist crew with pole holes and trenching using proper equipment.
• Assist flagging traffic and setting up job sites as assigned.
• Organize tools and materials on work vehicles.
• Maintain a clean and safe work area.
• Clean up and organize job sites after completion.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
