Job summary

Techline is seeking a Groundman in Van Alstyne, TX to support overhead power line construction and maintenance. The role involves ground-based tasks, material handling, and assisting crew members in tying lines overhead and underground.

Candidates must hold a Class A CDL within three months and pass a DOT drug test. Safety training will be provided; legal US work authorization is required.

Qualifications

• Must have a valid Class A CDL within three months of employment.
• Must be able to pass a DOT physical and drug test.
• Adhere to company safety policies and training will be provided.
• Legally authorized in the United States.

Responsibilities

• Assemble tools and materials on the ground.
• Maintain power distribution systems including running, stringing, and hanging lines overhead or underground.
• Assist crew with duties such as filling pole holes and trenching with proper equipment.
• Assist with flagging traffic and setting up job sites.
• Organize tools and materials on work vehicles and keep sites clean and safe.
