Job summary

United Rentals in Downey, CA is seeking an Operations Manager to coordinate and direct the delivery of quality service and maximize branch productivity.

You will work with the Branch Manager to ensure safety, customer service, and standard process compliance, while coaching staff and promoting a culture of accountability. The role involves leading sales initiatives and staff performance management.

Qualifications

• High School diploma; Bachelor's degree preferred.
• 3+ years sales and operational experience.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office, particularly Excel.
• Valid driver’s license with acceptable record.

Responsibilities

• Support Branch Manager in implementing actions to achieve financial objectives.
• Assist Branch Manager in ensuring compliance with all company policies.
• Oversee sales efforts and business initiatives.
• Performance manage direct staff including Inside Sales Reps, Drivers and others as applicable.
• Motivate, coach and train personnel.
• Promote a culture of safety and discipline through leadership and accountability.
• Other duties assigned as needed.
