Job summary

Stanley Consultants is seeking a Project Manager for our energy engineering practice with a hybrid work model. The role covers planning, execution, and closeout of medium- to large-scale energy projects across multiple offices and client teams.

You will contribute to business development, manage project risk and budget performance, and ensure timely delivery while coordinating with federal, state, and local authorities for permits and regulatory compliance.

Qualifications

• Bachelor degree in engineering, construction management, or business from an accredited college or university.
• 7+ years in energy engineering with at least 5 years in project management.
• Experience on Thermal Generation projects (Gas Turbine, Reciprocating Engines).
• Strong financial management capability.
• Proven success in managing large multi-discipline programs and multi-office projects.
• Excellent time management skills.

Responsibilities

• Plan and manage medium- to large-scale engineering projects across multiple offices and stakeholders.
• Support business development through scoping, fee development, proposals, interviews, negotiations, and contract development.
• Coordinate with authorities to obtain permits and ensure code compliance.
• Meet with client management to resolve issues and obtain approvals at project close.
• Maintain client relationships to support ongoing business development.
• Organize and coordinate project engagements, openings, initiations, schedules, executions and closings.
• Monitor objectives including quality, budgets, and schedules.
