Job summary

Stanley Consultants is seeking a part‑time Project Manager for Power Generation, fully remote in the United States. You will oversee large, multi‑discipline energy projects, handling scope, schedule, budget, quality, and client communications to optimize performance and profitability.

Ideal candidates bring a BS in engineering/construction management or business, 7+ years in energy engineering with 5+ years in PM, and strong financial management skills.

Qualifications

  • 7+ years of increasing experience in the Energy Engineering Industry with at least 5 years in project management.
  • Experience in Thermal Generation projects (Gas Turbine, Reciprocating Engines).
  • Strong financial management and commercial acumen.

Responsibilities

  • Plan and implement medium- to large-scale multi-discipline engineering projects with multiple stakeholders.
  • Support business development through scoping, fee development, proposals, interviews, and contracts.
  • Submit documents to federal, state, and local authorities for code compliance and permits.
  • Meet with client management to resolve issues and obtain approvals during projects.
  • Maintain ongoing client relationships as part of business development efforts.
  • Coordinate project engagements from initiation to close and ensure timelines and budgets.
