Job summary

IntelliPro seeks an experienced Project Manager to lead a high-visibility power generation project in Chester, VA. The role requires coordinating contractors, budgets, and schedules to ensure safe, compliant, on-time delivery from development through commissioning.

The ideal candidate has 7+ years in construction/engineering or project management with power generation experience and strong knowledge of turbines, pumps, and controls. W2 hourly pay applies for a 4-month engagement.

Qualifications

• 7+ years of industry experience in construction, engineering, or project management.
• Minimum 3 years of demonstrated project management experience.
• Strong power generation experience required.
• Experience with turbines, generators, pumps, motors, controls, electrical/instrumentation systems, and balance-of-plant equipment.
• Experience managing contractors and multiple project priorities.
• Strong understanding of project budgets, schedules, and cost forecasting.
• Knowledge of construction and operational field practices.
• Experience with safety practices, including OSHA requirements.
• Ability to read and interpret technical drawings, manuals, and specifications.

Position Details

• Position Title: Project Manager - Power Generation Project
• Location: Chester, VA 23836
• Pay Rate: $80–$90/hour on W2
• Duration: 4 Months (Possible Extension)
• Job id: #173654
• Schedule: 40 hours/week with occasional overtime based on project needs
• Mobilization/Demobilization: $500 one-time payment at the beginning and end of the assignment (subject to project policy).
• Per Diem: Standard Rate of VA, 7 days/week if qualified

Position Overview
