Job summary

Siemens Energy is seeking a Power Generation Project Engineer to support maintenance, inspections, rewinds, repairs, and upgrades on North America’s turbine-generator fleets. You will work with field service teams, outage specialists, and customers to plan and execute projects, emphasizing safety and reliability.

This hybrid role is based at Mount Pleasant, PA, requiring three days per week on-site and up to 10% domestic travel.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Mechanical or Electrical Engineering or related field.
• 5+ years in power generation, rotating equipment, or outage execution.
• Strong planning, organizational, and project management skills.

Responsibilities

• Lead planning and engineering support for inspections, maintenance, repairs, rewinds, upgrades, and outages.
• Develop detailed work scopes, technical instructions, risk assessments, and execution plans.
• Partner with customers, field service, and product-line experts to identify solutions and drive execution.
• Build and manage project schedules, resource plans, and milestones for outages and maintenance.
• Support continuous improvement in tooling, procedures, and safety.
• Drive technical problem-solving and risk mitigation through all project phases.
• Utilize Siemens Energy systems and best practices to deliver high-quality outcomes.
• Contribute to reliability and long-term performance of turbine-generator assets.
