Job summary

Siemens Energy in the United States seeks an Open Market Project Manager for the West Region to lead outages, parts, and repair projects for large steam turbine customers. Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent combination of education, training, and directly related professional experience.
• 5+ years of combined project management and field service experience within the power generation industry.
• Demonstrated ability to deliver complex, high-value projects for multiple customers while managing competing priorities.
• Strong customer-facing experience with communication, relationship-building, and stakeholder management skills, including interaction with senior leadership.
• Knowledge of rotating power generation equipment and power plant operations; able to apply technical expertise to solve customer challenges.
• Willingness to obtain IMPA certification within 18 months of prerequisites.
• Applicants must be legally authorized for employment in the United States without current or future employer-sponsored work authorization

Responsibilities

• Build and maintain strong customer and internal partnerships with accountability and a customer-focused mindset.
• Lead the full lifecycle execution of multiple outage, parts, and repair projects from initiation through completion.
• Develop and manage project plans, schedules, resources, and scope to achieve objectives.
• Own project financials including budgeting, forecasting, cost control, invoicing, and compliance.
• Identify, assess, and mitigate project risks; resolve issues affecting schedule, scope, quality, or budget.
• Coordinate and lead cross-functional teams, field personnel, and vendor partners for safe, efficient execution.
