Job summary

HDR, based in Michigan, seeks a Senior Project Development Engineer to lead multi-discipline teams on power generation projects across utilities, IPPs, industrial, and municipal sectors. You will drive conceptual design, schedules, and owner’s engineer support. Ideal candidates have 10+ years in power and engineering consulting, PE license, and hands-on experience with PLS CAD, AutoCAD, Plant 3D, AutoPipe, and Revit.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Engineering; PE license required.
• Minimum 10 years of experience in power/engineering consulting.
• Experience with power generation systems and owner’s engineer roles.

Responsibilities

• Lead development teams and coordinate with engineering disciplines.
• Monitor project status and provide development engineering support.
• Develop conceptual designs, cost estimates, and technical memos.
• Deliver project schedules and vendor quotes.
