Job summary

WSP is seeking a Mid-Level Mechanical Engineer (Generation) to join our Power & Energy team in Houston, TX, with consideration for Seattle, WA, Boise, ID, Overland Park, KS, Atlanta, GA, Oradell, NJ and Mt. Laurel, NJ. You will work on power generation projects and collaborate with multiple disciplines to meet client objectives.

The role requires ABET-accredited engineering education, 5+ years in mechanical design, FE or EIT, and strong communication skills. Occasional travel is expected (5–10%).

Qualifications

• ABET-accredited BS in Mechanical Engineering.
• FE or EIT certification completed.
• 5+ years of mechanical design experience for industrial facilities.

Responsibilities

• Perform mechanical design from concept to design completion.
• Design mechanical systems per lead engineers' requirements.
• Prepare specs, data sheets, and technical bid evaluations.
