WSP Global Inc. is seeking a Mid-Level Mechanical Engineer (Generation) to join our Power & Energy team.

This role involves designing mechanical systems for power generation projects, coordinating with multiple disciplines, and supporting project delivery across locations including Houston, Overland Park, Seattle and other listed sites. The ideal candidate will have a ABET-accredited mechanical engineering degree, 5+ years of industrial facilities design, and FE/EIT certification.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering from ABET-accredited program.
• FE or EIT certification.
• 5+ years of mechanical design experience for industrial facilities.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Strong analytical and problem‑solving abilities.
• Proficient with Microsoft Office suite.

Responsibilities

• Perform mechanical design from concept through design completion.
• Design mechanical systems per project needs under lead engineers.
• Prepare equipment specifications, data sheets and bid evaluations.
• Review drawings and coordinate with designers and drafters.
• Review vendor drawing submittals for mechanical equipment.
• Coordinate with electrical, structural, and civil engineers for project integration.
• Travel to client sites 5%–10% as needed to verify conditions and monitor progress.
• Adhere to company Code of Conduct and project policies.
