Job summary

Dominion Energy Virginia is seeking a highly motivated Power Station Intern to support operations and maintenance at Bear Garden Power Station in New Canton, VA. The internship offers hands-on experience in a power generation environment and exposure to multiple functional areas.

You will work with experienced professionals in Operations, Maintenance, Engineering, Environmental and Safety, performing inspections, data collection, and process improvement projects to enhance station reliability.

Qualifications

• Enrolled in a 4-year ABET-accredited engineering program.
• Graduation date expected in 2028 or 2029.
• GPA of 2.5 or higher.
• Preferred disciplines: Mechanical, Chemical, Electrical Engineering.

Responsibilities

• Support operations, maintenance, engineering, safety, and environmental teams.
• Assist with equipment inspections and data analysis.
• Participate in process improvement initiatives and reliability efforts.
• Learn power generation processes under supervision.
