Job summary

Dominion Energy Virginia is seeking a highly motivated Power Station Intern to support operations and maintenance at Chester, VA. You will gain hands-on experience in a power generation environment while collaborating with teams across Operations, Maintenance, Engineering, Environmental, Safety, Electrical, Mechanical, and Technical Services.

The intern will assist with equipment inspections, data collection/analysis, project research, and contributing to station reliability and performance

Qualifications

• Enrolled in ABET‑accredited engineering program with expected graduation 2028/2029.
• GPA at least 2.5.
• Pursuing Bachelor's degree in Mechanical, Chemical, or Electrical Engineering (preferred).

Responsibilities

• Support operations and maintenance activities.
• Assist with equipment inspections and data collection/analysis.
• Contribute to project research and process improvement initiatives.
• Support station reliability and performance efforts.
• Learn and apply power generation processes under supervision.
