Job summary

Dominion Energy Virginia is seeking a highly motivated Power Station Intern to support operations and maintenance activities at Bear Garden Power Station in New Canton, VA. The intern will work with teams across Operations, Maintenance, Engineering, Environmental, Safety, Electrical, Mechanical, and Technical Services to gain hands-on experience in a power generation environment.

Qualifications

• Currently enrolled in a 4-year college program pursuing an Engineering degree (ABET-accredited).
• Prefer Mechanical, Chemical, Electrical Engineering disciplines.
• Must have a graduation date in 2028 or 2029.

Responsibilities

• Assist with equipment inspections and data collection.
• Support project research and process improvement initiatives.
• Contribute to station reliability and performance efforts.
• Collaborate with Operations, Maintenance, Engineering, Environmental, Safety, Electrical, Mechanical, and Technical Services teams.
