Job summary

Dominion Energy Virginia is seeking a highly motivated Power Station Intern to support operations, maintenance, and engineering activities at the Virginia City Hybrid Center in St. Paul, VA.

You will work with experienced professionals across multiple functional areas to gain hands-on experience in a power generation environment. The intern will assist with inspections, data collection/analysis, and project research, contributing to station reliability and performance while learning regulatory

Qualifications

• Enrolled in a 4-year college program in Engineering.
• ABET-accredited institution.
• Expected graduation in 2028 or 2029.
• GPA 2.5 or higher.
• Strong communication and teamwork.

Responsibilities

• Support operations and maintenance activities at the Virginia City Hybrid Center.
• Assist with equipment inspections and data analysis.
• Contribute to project research and process improvements.
• Support safety and regulatory compliance.
• Collaborate with Engineering, Environmental, Electrical, Mechanical, and Technical Services teams.
• Attend team meetings and observe day-to-day plant activities.
• Learn power generation processes under supervision.
