Job summary

Advanced Equipment is hiring a Field Technician for their Lorton, VA location. The role involves inspecting, maintaining and testing diesel and gaseous generators, ATS controls, and related equipment.

You will prepare service reports and parts requests while delivering quality customer service. The ideal candidate has 3+ years of diesel engine or generator experience, strong electrical and mechanical skills, and the ability to work independently.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• Certification from Diesel Technology or Electrical Trade School preferred.
• Strong electrical and mechanical aptitude required.

Responsibilities

• Perform quality inspections, maintenance and testing of generators and ATS controls.
• Prepare service reports, parts requests, and related documentation.
• Ability to work independently and handle on-call responsibilities and rotating schedules.
