Job summary

Taylor Sudden Service seeks a dedicated field service technician to diagnose, repair, and maintain diesel and gas engines and power generation equipment. You will plan service calls with the Service Manager, travel to customer sites, and provide on-site diagnostics and repairs to keep machines operational.

The role requires hands-on electrical and mechanical skills, ability to read diagrams, and willingness to stay on-site as needed, including overnight travel.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or GED required.
• Experience with diesel and/or gas engines including servicing and repairing.
• Electrical experience and wiring knowledge, reading diagrams, and repair of electrical components and circuits.

Responsibilities

• Consult with Service Manager to plan work and travel schedules.
• Diagnose malfunctions; repair/replace parts; install new assemblies; adjust devices.
